Temporary clinics to administer the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine are scheduled throughout May by the state Department of Health’s Maui District Health Office. At the “pop-up” clinics, medics, public health nurses, and National Guard representatives will be available to provide the vaccine.
Residents can sign up via the links below. Walk-ins will be accepted, but wait times can be avoided by signing up in advance.
All clinics will provide the Moderna vaccine, offered only to individuals 18 years of age and older. Listed here are the clinics, starting with the community, followed by the date, sign-up link, and times:
- Kahului ~ Saturday, May 1, 8 a.m. to noon at Binhi at Ani COVID Moderna Vaccination Clinic.
- Wailea-Makena ~ Monday, May 3, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fairmont Kea Lani 2nd dose Moderna Clinic.
- Lahaina ~ Tuesday, May 4, noon to 3 p.m. at Papakea 2nd dose Moderna Clinic.
- Kihei ~ Tuesday, May 4, 3:30 to 7 p.m. at St. Theresa Church (Kīhei) 1st dose Moderna Clinic.
- Kihei ~ Wednesday, May 5, 9 a.m. to noon at Kīhei Kalama Village 1st dose Moderna Clinic.
- Kahului ~ Friday, May 7, 9 a.m. to noon at Queen Ka’ahumanu Center 1st dose Moderna Clinic, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Makawao ~ Monday, May 10, 9_ a.m. to noon at Hāliʻimaile General Store 2nd dose Moderna Clinic.
- Lahaina ~ Friday, May 14, 9 a.m. to noon at Montage 2nd dose Moderna Clinic.
- Lahaina ~ Saturday, May 22, 9 a.m. to noon at Old Lahaina Center 2nd dose Moderna Clinic.
- Kahului ~ Tuesday, May 25, 9 a.m. to noon at Maui Marketplace 2nd dose Moderna Clinic.
Clinics also are planned for the University of Hawaii Maui College for May 7, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., by the Maui District Health Office.
