The Lahaina Arts Society Art Festivals are back at the Lahaina Cannery Mall, starting this weekend, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
The public is welcome to visit, shop local and talk story with Maui fine-artist members of the Society, an organization dedicated to supporting local artists just launching careers around Maui. The LAS maintains its gallery in the Old Lahaina Courthouse building, and also sponsors several outdoor Fine Art Fairs in Lahaina each month.
From this Saturday and moving forward each weekend, the Arts Festivals will be staged where artists will display paintings, jewelry, ceramics, photography, and prints. The festivals will be at Lahaina Cannery Mall; look for tents and balloons on the lawn outside Starbucks.

Lahaina Arts Society Sets Gallery Re-Opening Event April 24
The Lahaina Arts Society's Banyan Tree Gallery has scheduled its Grand Re-Opening on Saturday, April 24. From that date on, the Gallery will be open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily.
For 53 years, the Banyan Tree Gallery has been an international destination for art lovers and collectors. The Gallery is located inside the Old Lahaina Courthouse, on the first floor of the historic landmark.
“We are excited to showcase our artists' latest creations in our freshly painted and reimagined gallery,” said William F. Smith, III, Executive Director of Lahaina Arts Society, "Everyone is welcome, and private gallery showings are available upon request."
The re-opening comes after a challenging year of quarantine orders and lockdowns from the historic pandemic response.
“It’s been a long year away from our community,” Smith said. “Visitors and the local community will now be able to continue to enjoy the remarkable art of professionally juried artists who demonstrate their craft and talk story about art and community on Maui.”
Visitors can easily find Banyan Tree Park, adjacent to the wharf and marina in Lahaina. Open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily starting April 24.
