The 2nd Annual Hot Sauce Eating Competition at Down the Hatch in Lahaina will be hosted by Brant Quick and Dave Fincher the evening of Valentine's Day, Monday, Feb. 14.

Festivities will begin with lave band karaoke from 8 to 10 p.m., followed by the hot sauce eating contest.

The "Lava Lava Shrimp Challenge" check-in is set to start at 10 p.m., followed shortly after by the contest. To be a contestant in in the challenge, sign-up in advance by emailing dave@dthmaui.com. Limited space available for contestants.

Post-contest DJ, dancing, and bar until closing at 1 a.m.
