Maui Bus Safety Survey Campaign: Informational Sessions Today and Thursday

ON THE ROAD AGAIN: County of Maui buses leave the island's central hub, Queen Ka'ahumanu Center, at the start of their routes Monday.

The Maui County Department of Transportation launching a safety survey campaign, in an effort to possibly make improvements to its public transportation system.

As part of the campaign, public information sessions have been scheduled for late this morning in Kahului, and late-morning Thursday in Lahaina. 

Department personnel will be available to answer questions at the following times and locations:

  • Queen Ka`ahumanu Center Transit Hub, 9 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, June 9
  • Wharf Cinema Center Transit Hub, 9 a.m. to noon, Thursday, June 10

The department welcomes safety-related inquires or concerns, submittable to: public.transit@mauicounty.gov.
